Hi! I'm Lisa Berger and Ed and I are enthusiastic about this winter getaway. It is the perfect winter retreat for women who fish like crazy, want to learn to flyfish, or are looking for the spot both of you can be happy (i.e. you're married to a fishing nut who never wants to go to the beach- like Ed). We have women's-only and couples-only trips. Women see a lot more while flyfishing than most men, The surroundings and life around us matters as much to us as the number of fish we catch. In Punta Allen we have expert, soft-spoken guides and Ed is a patient instructor if you'd like to g
et your feet wet in flyfishing or work on that double haul. 
Go out at noon for a half day ( the best fishing is usually early afternoon anyway) if you feel like it or just a couple of hours - this is Mexico- the siesta was invented here (at least perfected). When you go out with your guide it may start as a fishing day and end up as a snorkeling adventure its up to you.
If you'd rather just curl up in a hammock on the beach you 
might see me in the next Palapa down the beach! Its amazing how relaxing it is here, no shoes and hardly any clothes. Its 85 degrees and sunny almost every day of the winter! No phone, no TV, no faxes, no crowds ahh..... Well I'm starting to dream again (I'm writing this in my Boston Apartment waiting for a 65 degree day!!
If fishing isn't your game and you want to visit any of the nearby Mayan sites or even take a day trip to Playa Del Carmen for a little shopping I'm game for that too! Let me know what your perfect vacation is and I'll make sure it happens for you!
