The Resort

The Sundiver Beach Resort was first founded as a diving and vacation resort.  Since they are in the middle of the best fishing that Belize has to offer, I have combined the best guides on Ambergris Caye to make this the best value that I have come across.  The resort that was built for vacationers that were not flyfishers.  You get all the stuff that you would expect from any resort of this caliber: great food, great rooms, and a great facility.  You get the best guides on the island to make a vacation that will amaze you.  The flyfishing fanatics can rest assured that the fishing program here is top quality as well.

There are several types of rooms available here at Sundiver Beach Resort.  The package pricing starts with the Beach Nook Rooms rooms.  You can upgrade at a modest charge for the larger rooms if you so desire All the rooms are all large, air-conditioned and are equipped with a phone and satellite TV and of course a full bathroom. The beach Nook room can ONLY have a queen bed but all the other rooms can be equipped with a king size bed or two twin beds. The electricity is compatible with ours here in the US so all your camcorders, hair dryers and the like will work.  Even though there are no cars on the island we still have reliable phone service. 

Beach Nook: The Beach Nook rooms open directly to the beach. You can enjoy the beauty of sunrise over the reef and the gentle trade winds through the sliding doors and awning windows. Air-conditioning or the natural breezes assisted by a ceiling fan will keep you cool. A comfortable queen-sized bed, en-suite bathrooms, telephone, six channels of satellite TV, a coffee maker, and island charm are all part of your Sundiver experience.

Sea View Room: Sea View rooms have the same wonderful view of the ocean and reef that you get everywhere at Sundiver Beach Resort! You're just a few steps from hammocks strung between palm trees. When not using the hammocks, You'll have your choice of a king-sized or two twin beds. Couples or friends can be accommodated in these rooms. You will enjoy calming natural tones, decorative mosquito nets, wicker furniture, and an unrestricted view of the world’s second longest barrier reef. Air conditioning, en-suite facilities, telephone, six channels of satellite TV, and a coffee maker round out the Sea View.

Reef View & Sunrise Suites: The Reef View & Sunrise suites enjoy the view of Belize’s barrier reef from the upper floor. You will enjoy the added luxury of a sitting area and a private verandah where you can relax in comfortable hammock chairs. The suites are an open plan and have a king-sized bed or two twin beds. They also have a queen-sized fold out sofa bed in the sitting area. As with all of our rooms, the suites have en-suite facilities, air conditioning, ceiling fans, telephone, TV, coffee makers and the added feature of a small refrigerator. The Sunrise Suites have kitchenettes.

VILLAS: These four spectacular villas make up an enclave of villas surrounding their own freshwater luxury pool. All are two-story houses with bedrooms on the lower floors and the living area on the upper floors. Each is decorated with island charm, is air conditioned, has a fully- equipped kitchens for those who might like to try their hand at cooking some of the local delicacies, satellite TV, and covered verandahs up and down. Our guests enjoy the full amenities of Sundiver Beach Resort, including daily maid service.

Reef Rider Villa situated at the back of the pool has the most spectacular view of the villas. It looks directly out over the sparkling pool, lush gardens, over the white sand beach, and out to the Caribbean Sea barrier reef. This villa has two bedrooms both with king or twin beds and three bathrooms. There is a queen size fold out sofa in the living room for additional sleeping.

Caye Calm is a three-bedroom, 3 1/2 bath villa at the front of the Villa Horseshoe with an unrestricted view of the ocean. Two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and en-suite facilities, and the third has twin beds and a half bath.

Cocoa Caye Villa is the south end of the horseshoe and walks directly out on to the beach. This villa has two bedrooms with queen size beds and three bathrooms. It is decorated in a fun tropical style, including a small refrigerator in each bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and a hammock on the upper veranda.

Sea Breeze Villa has three bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. This is the largest of the villas and sleeps eight. Each room has beds that are convertible from King to twin beds and en-suite facilities. The master bedroom has its own sitting area and a walk in closet. The living room has fold down futons for additional sleeping areas. Sea Breeze looks over the pool, garden and out on the ocean.

Most of the packages include three meals a day from our restaurant. You will have full choice of any of the menu items and dinner includes wine.  There is a full staff that has only one thing in mind, your vacation.   All the food is prepared using American standards with purified water served at all times.  Please help me Fly fish the Planet in Search of Fly Fishing Heaven!
